Pat Cohen Fly Tying Seminar

The godfather of spun deer hair is coming to South Florida. Pat Cohen’s passion for fly tying and infatuation with the artistic freedom it provides has lead him to become one of the most recognizable professional fly tiers today. Residing amongst the warmwater lakes and streams of upstate New York, it only makes perfect sense that Pat developed his skills and now specializes in spun deer hair bass bugs. Although he also ties incredible fish sculptures for display purposes, he loves nothing more than to watch a giant bass crush one of the frogs or birds he put so much work into. Saltwater fly fishing is not foreign to Pat. If it pursues baitfish, it’s on his radar. Pat’s arsenal includes poppers and streamers that snook, tarpon, redfish, seatrout, stripers, bluefish and an abundance of other saltwater predators would love to get their mouths around.

Pat will be doing tying demonstrations all day here at the shop on Saturday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th. Join us for the opportunity to hang out with one of the great talents of the sport as you learn new patterns and techniques. All are welcome, there is no charge to attend, and refreshments will be provided.
