Capt. Bobby Gibson

Capt. Bobby Gibson fishes out of Biscayne Bay. South Florida’s legendary shallow estuary in Biscayne National Park famous for its large bonefish.

Biscayne Bay is a challenging fishery. The wind always seems to be blowing on your casting hand and the fish have their PHD’s in fly recognition. Practice a lot before your trip with Capt. Bobby G and when you do hook a bonefish, permit or tarpon of the bay, you’ll quickly realize the juice is worth the squeeze. That said, just watching a bonefish tail, tarpon blurp, or squadron of permit buzz by in fighter formation is worth the price of admission.

Angling and boating pressure make the bay equally demanding on guides. Capt. Bobby G is not only cut out for the job, he’s one of the best in the business. He breathes and lives for this incredible ecosystem so that he can provide you with shots at – his first love (bonefish), his favorite tormentor (permit), and the adrenaline dump (tarpon).
