Realistic look and feel to this fly
Blaine Chocklett came up with the Gummy Minnow pattern and it became an instant classic. It catches everything from Bass to Bonefish. We like them for Snook and Tarpon at night under the light. Works great offshore, especially when using dead minnows for chum.

What others are saying

  1. Beautiful movement in saltwater

    Paul Harding (verified owner)

The Gummy Minnow looks and moves amazingly well in saltwater! I use them with a Non-Slip Loop Knot for more natural movement. If you order these for shipping I suggest requesting that they be shipped in a box and not all stuck together. Mine arrived in a USPS padded envelope and they were all stuck together and some were damaged pulling them apart. OFFS offered to replace them so kudos to them for their usual awesome customer service. In my opinion these are destined to become a new classic pattern.

  2. Put a few in every fly box

    Bruce Cyr

The Gummy Minnow is in every one of my fly boxes! They are my go to for Cero and Spanish Mackerel over the reefs, Blackfin Tuna and Mahi along the weed lines, great under the dock lights for Moonfish, Snook, Tarpon or Mangrove Snapper, and for all the freshwater predators in our South Florida lakes or canals. They can be used with both floating or sinking lines. Very durable as I’ve caught over a dozen mackerel and four Jack Crevalle on one fly before replacing it.

  3. Question

    mike uretsky

    How durable are gummy minnows?
Can you expect multiple hook-ups without destruction?

      Hi Mike,
The Gummy Minnows are extremely durable. Normally you can get a few hookups before thinking about tying a new one on.
