This dog will hunt
Like all puppies, Lexo’s Mud Puppy likes to play. Especially in the mud, and with redfish. The heavy eyes counteract the dense packed fiber head (which pushes water) to get the fly down. The movement from the marabou collar, rabbit strip tail and legs entice the eat. In colors ideal for marshy and murky water, the Mud Puppy makes an excellent redfish fly from Mosquito Lagoon to Louisiana. Aggressive bass will also jump on the Mud Puppy.
