      Really? That response is insulting and incorrect. Fly tyers know that there are problems with dumbbell eyes twisting if not properly tied on. I stand by my original review.

      Hi Jim, we’re sorry you had that experience. If you grip the fly and twist hard, any fly will break loose. Normally there isn’t a lot of lateral torque (unless induced by hand). Normal casting and use will not twist the fly on the hook.
