Great shrimp pattern for Bonefish everywhere
The EP Spawning Shrimp is a perfect shrimp pattern for Bonefish everywhere. This is one of our first recommendations when fishing the flats of Biscayne Bay and The Keys. The Sili Legs and the EP Shrimp Brush body wiggle in the shallows to attract Bonefish. Tied with a prong style weedguard.

      Hi Mel,
EP is an abbreviation for Enrico Puglisi. He is the creator of the fly, and the material “EP Fibers” used in the fly.

  2. Question

    Chris C

I am confused on the size. Is it truly a #6 (roughly 3/4″ shank)? Going to use a 5wt with a 2x tippet. Hard to find a #6 shrimp.

Hi Chris, the hook shank is 7/8″ long. It’s a #6 Gamakatsu L11-3H hook, (same as SL11-3H but in black)
