Seamless executes your delivery
The Waterworks-Lamson Standard Seat Fly Rod gets the fly to the fish. Period. That’s what it was designed to do, and that’s what it does. That being said, it does so with the pleasure of a much more expensive rod. The tip is light, responsive, and even energetic. The rod loads deep in the lower sections and the translation from the deep load into the lively tip feels absolutely seamless. From watching a handful of casters try the Lamson Fly Rod, we feel it safe to say that it is a very forgiving rod against occasional untimely hauls.

This is a saltwater rod – engineered with power to handle wind, heavy bugs, and strong fish. However, this is one of the more “presentation-y” saltwater rods in its class. It performs best on quick 40-60 ft casts. The bomb caster or the extremely aggressive caster might be better suited with a faster stick. But for most casters, this short shot is the most important shot in saltwater fly fishing and this dynamic rod has everything you need to execute it flawlessly.

Waterworks-Lamson rods are designed in the US, manufactured by their partners overseas, and then quality controlled back in Idaho.
