Orvis Mirage Big Game Tippet is made up of pure fluorocarbon to optimize the material’s benefits: abrasion resistance, stealth and sink rate. The Mirage tippet retains knot strength, is extremely tough, and is virtually invisible underwater. As a result of fluorocarbon’s ability to break water’s surface tension and sink quickly, this tippet material compliments sinking and intermediate lines nicely. The Mirage tippet in 6-20 lb make the perfect IGFA class tippet and the abrasion resistance of the larger sizes makes for trustworthy shock tippets.
