Focused on the advantages of pressure casting
If die cast reels are supposed to be low cost alternatives that sacrifice performance and durability, Lamson did not get the memo. The Lamson Liquid uses the pressure casting process to create full radiused compound curves, near zero-radius inside corners, and for precise fit and finish Lamson went back and machined the cast part in critical areas amplifying the best aspects of the process.
Although the high quality casting are imported, The critical components of the drag system on the Lamson Liquid are CNC machined in the US making it the only reel in it’s price class that yields this much US content and oversight.

Hi Matteo, absolutely yes. The Lamson Liquid is a fully sealed and durable reel. The 10 weight will have enough backing capacity for normal offshore use.
