While the Litespeed was already one of the most influential, functionally sound reels in it’s class, the next generation Lamson Litespeed G5 takes it to the next level through innovative engineering and tinkering. The results are a stiffer, stronger frame with a narrower, larger diameter spool for a higher line retrieval rate. Narrower doesn’t mean less when talking drag systems, the G5’s sealed drag system is as strong and smooth as ever. Enhanced 3D milling and an improved ergonomic drag knob for better grip round out the reels structural design. To protect it all, the Litespeed G5 is finished in a tougher Lamsom Hard Alox finish.
