The Dry Fly Rooster Neck is imported from India and are an inexpensive way to hackle your dry flies. The Prime is the one to get for the stiffer feathers for dries. We love using the #1 and #2 for tails on our Bonefish and Permit flies. The Red Grizzly and Cree are some of the best feathers out there for this application.

Feather are very short

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to dry fly hackle and noticed, once I got the item, that there was not a single feather long enough to even make a parachute, in the 14-20 range.
