I use this fly with a S-7 sinking line for Yellowtail Snapper while anchored and have caught over 30 fish on just one fly. Even if the tail gets chewed down, the fish will continue to hit. Strikes occur both on the drop and while using a 1,2 short stripping retrieve. Have also caught a variety of Jack species, King Mackerel, Bonito, Mutton and Mangrove Snapper as well as Ocean Tally while using this fly in a chum slick.
