Dave Skok’s Blind Crab is not fancy, it’s food. The combination of rabbit fur, fluttering legs and palmered hackle create a deadly amount of movement and flow in the current and when bumped. Originally designed as a mole crab imitation, the Blind Crab is an excellent surf fly for species sniffing out sand fleas. With lead eyes painted to represent an egg sack on a shrimp or crab, the Blind Crab also makes for an irresistible deeper water bonefish fly as well as small permit and redfish fly.
