The Scientific Anglers Amplitude Textured Grand Slam is the ultimate line for the all-around inshore saltwater outfit. It’s a half size heavy so it loads quick. The short, powerful head cuts through wind. It punches heavy flies, and carries long leaders. The line picks up nicely when water hauling. The rear taper stabilizes the cast for accurate and finesse presentations when called for. So taper-wise the Grand Slam is ideal for bonefish to snook.

The Amplitude series is the first series of fly lines to feature a special coating with revolutionary AST Plus slickness additive. This provides 5x less drag (for superior shooting ability) and 8x the durability of traditional lines. The difference between the Amplitude and Amplitude Smooth is that the Amplitude is textured. Floating texture on the tip section is for the ultimate in flotation. Shooting texture on the running line delivers longer casts.
