While the Litespeed was already one of the most influential, functionally sound reels in it’s class, the next generation Lamson Litespeed Micra 5 takes it to the next level through innovative engineering and tinkering. The results are a stiffer, stronger frame with a narrower, larger diameter spool for a higher line retrieval rate. Despite strengthening the reel, The Litespeed Micra 5 is still lighter than the previous generation thanks to material reduction and narrower drag unit. Narrower doesn’t mean less when talking drag systems, the Micra’s sealed drag system is as strong and smooth as ever. Enhanced 3D milling and an improved ergonomic drag knob for better grip round out the reels structural design. To protect it all, the Litespeed Micra 5 is draped in new Micralox coating. Micralox is the ultimate in corrosion resistance.
