The SDF takes the drag and design of its saltwater big cousin, the also award winning Abel SDS, and scales it down into a lightweight and powerful freshwater framework. The stainless steel/carbon fluoropolymer drag system wields an amazing 10 lbs. of drag pressure and an incredibly wide range of adjustment with virtually no start up inertia to protect tippet of any size. Nearly a full ounce lighter than the original SD series, the SDF strives for balance. Available is sizes 4/5, 5/6 and 6/7 for pure performance in your fresh and warmwater situations, the 6/7 also makes an awesome lightweight bonefish and dock light snook reel.
