One type of brush for a complete fly
The EP Practical Brush is an easy “one brush” to build complete flies from. Each brush consists of EP Fibers and EP Sparkle bound in a stainless steel wire. The combo pack come with six 10″ brushes, one of each of the following widths: 50″, .75″, 1″, 1.25″, 1.5″, 1.75″. This allows the tire to build an articulated style of flies with the taper naturally building itself as you increase the size of the brush you use.

Do these brushes require a prop such as finesse chenille or is the material sufficiently stiff to do without? Thanks. Really enjoy buying from you guys.

You do not need another material to add bulk, these brushes will build a sufficient body on their own. Check out the video, the fly in it is tied only with the brushes:
