Several ways to tie in and use this dubbing
Fly designer Greg Senyo teamed up with Hareline Dubbin to create Senyo’s Laser Dub. It’s a custom blend of Ice Dub and 1-1/2″ acrylic staple fiber. Not only can you use Laser Dub as traditional dubbing for Steelhead and Salmon flies, but the longer length allow you to pack and spin heads similar to wool-head flies. Tie in the middle of a clump of dubbing that encompasses the hook, pull back the forward facing fibers and take jam wraps in front. After a few bundles like this, comb it out to blend and attach your eyes with Loctite. This method makes killer baitfish patterns for fresh and saltwater.
