Synthetic fur with lots of movement
Craft Fur offers a ton of flutter and movement when stripped or left to sit in the current, making it an extremely popular material for shrimp and baitfish fly patterns. About 2-2 3/4″” long, craft fur’s underfur makes it bulky at the bottom and sparse at the top. Pick out the underfur for a nicer taper to use for a tail or body.

The back is some kind of weaved fabric faux hide. It is not felt.
