Hi Michael, so, unfortunately, you can’t get an accurate measure of the width of this thread. Depending on how tight you spin or how flat it is it will vary. It is 210 Denier breaking strength, perfect for saltwater flies or freshwater flies in the #1-#4/0 fly range. Smaller than #1 I would look at 140 Denier thread, larger than #4/0 you might want to consider 280 denier thread such as Ultra Thread.
