After reading many reviews about this device across the internet (good and bad), I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase one. I have not been disappointed! It has served me WELL! There are a couple of things that a person SHOULD KNOW about it before purchasing one, though: First, it is really not stable on its own, which is why I used scrap lumber (and just a few minutes of time) to make a stand (see pic) to shore up the device for easier use. Second, it comes with a hook to attach in a vice, but spending the extra $30ish on a Stonfo Turbo Dubbing Brush Spinner makes turning out brushes much more efficient. Third, I dedicated an old vice to use with the device to save the time of setting it up every time with my main vice. Without a dedicated vice, setup takes about 20 minutes of valuable time, and a inexpensive, dedicated vice will speed up brush making tremendously. Fourth, check out videos on YouTube about using this device, as they will truly shorten the learning curve! With a few super-minor modifications, this device has been GREAT, and I truly enjoy using it. I highly recommend the device!
